Pertanyaan umum
Q1What exactly is a Unix timestamp?
It is the number of seconds (or milliseconds) since 1970-01-01 00:00:00 UTC. It carries no time zone, so it always points at one absolute moment — which is why systems exchange timestamps instead of local times.
Q2How does it tell 10 digits from 13?
By length: 12 digits or more is treated as milliseconds, anything shorter as seconds. The detected unit is shown next to the input so you are never guessing.
Q3Why does my colleague see a different time?
The same timestamp renders as different clock times in different zones, but it is the same instant. This tool shows your local time, UTC and ISO 8601 side by side.
